Independence Day

One of my all time favorite movies, is Independence Day. You know, the one with Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum.

I don’t know what it is, but I sit and watch it every time it’s on. I watched it again, last night. There’s one part that I always enjoy. It’s a pump me up kind of part.

I was going to put the you tube video, but this website had it all. Audio, video, and then the speech written out. I liked it. Please click, because I love this part. Bill Pullman is a good actor, and if I recall correctly, wasn’t he in another classic…

By golly, I do believe he was. I don’t know how I ever missed that connection before. Spaceballs, I appreciate that silly sense of humor.

To know me is to know that this is what I truly appreciate in life. A good sense of humor. 🙂 Thank you Mel Brooks.

Another classic movie I’ve watched recently, is Uncle Buck. John Candy was a funny man. The Great Outdoors is another good one. Do you have any input on any of the above mentioned movies?

I realize I am very behind on anything recent when it comes to movies. I don’t sit in front of the tv much. I always have it on, but I don’t sit and watch it often. I do plan to update myself on movies though, once I’m into my new home, and I get my new couch.

Only 40 more days to go!

On that note, have a great day. I should get something started, and finished before the work day. Thanks for stopping by.
